✤ Literati is a festival with a dream and a purpose, to catapult Chandigarh as a destination for lovers of language, literature, art and culture.
✤ It offers an opportunity to partner with and support the premier literature festival of the Northern region of the country
✤ It’s a labor of love, a not-for-profit festival run by a dedicated team of members and volunteers.
✤ Revenues for the festival are only through sponsors. We do not charge to attend, instead we enable young students and those with an interest in literature who cannot afford it, to particiapte.
✤ Revenues are re-invested into curating and supporting non profit literary events and book launches in the city, and through workshops and competitions, encouraging young minds to read and write.
✤ A three-day niche festival, we have had the honor of hosting eminent speakers at Literati and holding panel discussions in multiple languages viz English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.

✤ It serves as an active platform for diverse topics of discourse, for networking opportunities and a launchpad for debut writers
